Way back in 2003 I did a mini-project around Valentines day, asking people to send me a Valentines card.
That's it.
I got three and it was nice.

Ah, old faithful. I've been drawing these monsters for ages. They've started singing now, and they have weird eyes too

You got it on the side
A little one night thing
I’ve thought it over and this time I will forgive you
Well I’m not letting go
But don’t forget I know
You made your bed and she was in it
No no no
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
Well I’m not blaming you
But she’s still hanging round
And she’s so crazy I’ll tell you now I just don’t trust her
She thinks she’s right on time
But I think she crossed the line
And I’m ready for the light
I’m ready if it’s fighting time
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?
Made from mostly videos from my broken camera, which can only record videos which are 1 second long.
More Eggs Logs, I've already blogged about this, but it's too good - and recently sprung up in my mind, as it regularly does.
Back in 2004, in one direction it read 'Eggs Logs', in the other 'Logs Eggs'. Then it became free range, and then they've expanded their produce. I love farm signs, notice them, laugh at them. Look at that lettering, it's divine. nice and slanty.

I like making Stop Motions. This Web Cam Stop Motion project sounds good. The creator on that website doesn't work with my mac, but I made this one in Photoshop/Imageready:
And some old ones:
I had the pleasure of attending a Hillbilly party last weekend, And thought I would go all out with my costume. With some time on my hands, I created this 'hillbilly mask' - inbred big ears, big lips, furrowed brow, complete with extra finger. It took a whole day and a half of my life. I made it with mod-roc and papier mache.

A recent find from The Scrapstore. Off cuts of clothing labels - Just call me Ishmael being my favourite. I might sew that into some of my clothes.
Who are these little men? I couldn't stop drawing them!

"I'll see if i have some shrapnel"
kooky
Sophie Ellis Bextor sounds like Alan Partridge "it's murder on the dancefloor, but you better not kill the groove"
"when you're ready, enter your pin" when you're already half way through entering it.
My fingers made this silly little man out of clay, i don't know where he came from, but he obviously had to get out! I like his teeth the best.
And this is a bit of fluff i made from bits of fluff.
It reminds me of everlasting gob stoppers and my friend Jack Warren Meeks.
I drew this little man, I like him, but he needs rotating.
Paul Granjon is a wonderful, machine making man."I am interested in the co-evolution of humans and machines.I build robots and other machines for shows in performances, galleries, festivals and television."And this - the antigravitational vehicle for cats video
He makes songs using his handmade 40cm long 'Zitare', here they are. Have a listen to them! I especially like 'La chanson du cherry pie song'
'
Furman'
Property of Paul Granjon
"I saw Furman in a dream... I sketched the creature in my diary in the morning: a 6 foot furry thing with no arms and furry legs, delivering karate kicks in the air. A few weeks later, I decided to build the creature."
Imagine if we all made the thing we see in our dreams? Mr Granjon's immediacy is great, if only we all shared it.
Here's his website.
How I love playing around with Photobooth, on the Mac. It never fails to make me laugh. I wish I could make a larger Photo booth camera – one which could capture you from head to toe, with a screen the size of a cinema screen – you’d be all legs and arms, and you could use horses as extra props.
Barfoot and Duggan, Lists, Silly, Stop Motion
We have been working really hard to get our Centrespace exhibition ready. We have under a month to go now, and plenty of lists to display; threading and pinning. We are making more reciept mountains and getting some lists and letters framed. There's a lot of work to be done, and we're having fun doing it. Apart from when the list-thread gets in knots!
I found this in the toilets at a De La Soul gig in the O2 Academy, Bristol. It's a discarded envelope reading "Trazzer Fazzer." I love finding things like this.
